Booking terms and conditions

Last updated: 14 October 2026

These terms govern bookings made on sailingbeyondlimits.com and totalitysotogrande.com. By ticking the box before paying, you accept them together with the privacy policy.

1. Who we are and our role

The website is operated by Sailing Beyond Limits, S.L. (NIF B75371963), whose details are in the legal notice. We act as an intermediary agency: we sell and manage the booking, and the experience itself is provided by the shipowner or local operator that runs that trip (shown on each trip page). The contract for the service is formed between you and that operator, through us.

2. Booking and confirmation

You choose the experience, date, departure and number of guests, and see live availability. The booking is confirmed when payment is accepted and you receive the confirmation email with your reference. Keep it: it may be asked for at the meeting point. If you do not receive it within a few minutes, check your spam folder or write to booking@sailingbeyondlimits.com.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros and include the taxes that apply unless stated otherwise (for example, a port tax payable locally is listed under “not included”). The full amount is charged by card when you book, through a secure payment provider; we never see your card number. The price you see in the last step is the price you pay.

4. Changes by you, cancellation and no-show

Each trip has its own cancellation rule, shown on its page and in the cancellation policy: some trips can be cancelled free of charge up to a number of hours before departure, others are non-refundable. To cancel or change a booking, write to booking@sailingbeyondlimits.com with your reference. If you do not show up at the departure time, the booking is treated as a no-show and is not refunded.

5. Weather, safety and cancellations by the operator

The captain or operator may postpone, change or cancel a departure for weather, sea conditions or safety reasons, and their decision is final. In that case you will be offered another date or a refund of the amount paid for the cancelled trip. Please follow the crew’s safety instructions at all times.

6. Your obligations

Check the trip page before booking: minimum age, health conditions, what to bring, meeting point and times. You must provide correct data, arrive on time and respect the crew, other guests and the environment. The operator may refuse boarding to anyone who puts safety at risk, without refund.

7. Cruise-ship passengers

Some excursions are designed for cruise-ship passengers and ask for the ship name, your boarding time and your disembarkation time. Times are Puerto Vallarta local time or the local time of the destination, not ship time. Please check that you can return to the ship in time: the operator is not responsible for missed departures caused by a schedule that is not compatible with the excursion.

8. Right of withdrawal

Leisure services for a specific date or period are excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal (Article 103(l) of the Spanish consumer law, Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, and Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU). Cancellation rights are therefore those in the cancellation policy.

9. Liability

We are responsible for managing your booking correctly. The operator is responsible for performing the service, and the guests for their own conduct and belongings. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, nor your rights as a consumer.

10. Complaints and governing law

Send any complaint to booking@sailingbeyondlimits.com, with your booking reference. These terms are governed by Spanish law. Consumers may bring claims before the courts of their place of residence, in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.
