Snorkelling, Open Bar and Water Fun on a Punta Cana Boat
2 min read

A Punta Cana boat trip is more than a boat ride: it is a few hours of things to do, from snorkelling to dancing. Here is what you will find on board, and which details change from one trip to another.
Snorkelling
Snorkelling gear is included, so you only need to bring swimwear. The boat stops at a coral reef where you can see colourful fish; trips such as the Luxury VIP party boat describe the stop as good for beginners and families. Life jackets are available on board.
The open bar
Most trips include an open bar with the Caribbean classics:
- Mojitos
- Cuba Libre
- Passion Love cocktails
- Rum punch and rum and cola
- Soft drinks, juices and water, and ice
Non-alcoholic options are always there, and the bar is for adults: the more party-oriented trips are limited by age (for example the adults-only cruise). Drink responsibly, especially in the sun. On some trips you may also bring your own drinks free of charge; check the details on the page of the trip you choose.
Music and animation
Expect a good sound system and an animation team on the shared cruises. Some boats let you choose the vibe: reggaeton, hip hop, salsa, R&B or electronic. The hip hop party boat and the hip hop and R&B celebration lean into that.
Water activities
- Floating water pad to lounge on the water.
- Water slide on some boats, such as the Sand Bar party boat.
- Swimming at the natural pool and the sand bar: read what the sand bar day is like.
- Dolphin Island: on several trips you cruise past it and may spot dolphins from the boat.
Snacks
Light snacks are served on board; if you are travelling with someone who has an allergy, tell the crew when the operator contacts you on WhatsApp.
Which trip fits you?
- First time and want everything: the Sand Bar party boat.
- More VIP feel: the VIP booze cruise.
- Younger crowd (15+): the exclusive island cruise party.
