Line M-240 Estepona – La Línea de la Concepción is the intercity bus that runs along the coast linking Estepona, Sabinillas, Puerto de la Duquesa, Torreguadiaro, Guadiaro, Sotogrande Alto, San Roque and La Línea. It is operated by Avanza within the system of the Campo de Gibraltar Metropolitan Transport Consortium. This guide gathers the timetables and fares published by the operator and the consortium (checked on 26 October 2026) and flags what we could not confirm.

M-240 timetable

Avanza publishes these departures from each terminus:

Leaves Estepona Terminal Leaves La Línea bus station
06:50 06:45
08:40 08:35
11:00 10:55
12:50 12:45
14:35 14:40
16:55 16:30
18:50 19:05
20:45 20:30

The consortium says the service runs every day, holidays included, and that its timetable is valid until 31 December 2027: 8 departures a day in each direction. The last bus leaves Estepona at 20:45 and La Línea at 20:30.

For Sotogrande and the area around it, the consortium also publishes passing times. Towards La Línea:

Torreguadiaro Guadiaro Cuatro Vientos (San Roque) La Línea station
07:33 07:56 08:17 08:31
09:23 09:46 10:07 10:21
11:43 12:06 12:27 12:41
13:23 13:46 14:07 14:21
15:18 15:41 16:02 16:16
17:38 18:01 18:22 18:36
19:33 19:56 20:17 20:31
21:26 21:49 22:10 22:24

And towards Estepona (departures from La Línea and passing times at Guadiaro and Torreguadiaro):

La Línea station San Roque (Alameda) Guadiaro Torreguadiaro
06:45 07:00 07:20 07:40
08:35 08:50 09:10 09:30
10:55 11:10 11:30 11:50
12:45 13:00 13:20 13:40
14:40 14:55 15:15 15:35
16:30 16:45 17:05 17:25
19:05 19:20 19:40 20:00
20:30 20:45 21:05 21:25

How long it takes: neither the operator nor the consortium publishes the total journey time. If we pair the Estepona departures with the Torreguadiaro passing times in order, the first bus (06:50) reaches Torreguadiaro at about 07:33, roughly 40 minutes. That is a pairing by order, not a published figure: confirm it before planning a tight connection.
